The Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program is hosting a special event for new volunteer guardians ad litem and their families and friends.
Join us on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for the Guardian ad Litem Swearing In Ceremony.
The ceremony will be presided over by Circuit Judge Karen Gievers, who will administer the oath to new volunteers being sworn in as guardians ad litem. Members of our staff, veteran volunteers and other special guests may also be in attendance.
As this will be Judge Gievers' final swearing in ceremony, all volunteers are invited to join us as we show our appreciation for all of the hard work that she has done for children in our community.
All participants must pass through a security screening checkpoint. No firearms, knives or other weapons are permitted inside the courthouse.
