The Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program is hosting a training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem and staff.

Join us on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at our offices on Thomasville Road for Early Childhood Courts.

Participants will increase their awareness about the negative impacts of abuse and neglect on very young children. Information on changing local systems to improve outcomes for young children and prevent future court involvement will also be provided.

The session will be presented by Research and Project Specialist Rachel Bassett with Big Bend Community Based Care; Senior Court Analyst Leigh Merritt with the Office of Court Improvement; and Statewide Coordinator Carrie Toy with the Office of Court Improvement.

Participants may receive one-and-a-half (1.5) hours of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.

The training is free. You can download a print flyer, register to attend and submit questions to the event contact below.
