Leon County Schools, Florida Inclusion Network and the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System are hosting a continuing education event of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem, staff and educators.
Join them on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for Ability Awareness: Celebrating Disability History and Awareness.
Participants will learn how to assist students in understanding, communicating and interacting with individuals with disabilities. Information and promotional ideas that can be used in schools to fulfill requirements in statute as well as free resources will also be provided.
Participants may receive three (3) hours of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.
