The Florida Guardian ad Litem Program is hosting a training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem, attorneys and staff.
Join them on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22, 2015 for the 2015 Disabilities Training Conference, celebrating the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program.
The conference will bring together attorneys ad litem; attorneys and non-attorneys from government agencies; judges; and private attorneys who work with dependent children with disabilities.
Goals of the conference include advancing attorney advocacy and courtroom skills to promote best practices; better understanding government agencies and how they work together to more efficiently and effectively improve outcomes; developing connections among participants and agencies to determine appropriate resources; and sharing best practices across agencies to create better outcomes for dependent children with disabilities.
Participants may receive continuing education credit for participating. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.
Complete event details and online registration are available at the 2015 Disabilities Training Conference website.
