The Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence is hosting a training program of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.
Join then on Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for Rural Domestic Violence Statewide Training Institute.
This two day training institute will offer workshops covering a wide range of topics to enhance participants' knowledge, service provision and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence in rural communities.
Direct service advocates, law enforcement, legal professionals, health care providers, allied agencies, child protection, social service professionals, students and other individuals who work or volunteer in the domestic violence field throughout Florida will come together to learn the emerging trends and developments in assisting rural domestic and sexual violence survivors and their children.
Participants may receive sixteen (16) hours of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.
