The Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program is hosting a training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.
Join us on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at our offices on Thomasville Road for Foster Care Extension.
Presented by attorney Stephanie A. Johnson with Legal Services of North Florida and the Florida Bar Foundation, this training will provide information on foster care beyond age eighteen.
Do you know that your child may be able to stay in foster until he or she is twenty-one?
Do you know your child may be able to receive $1,256 a month to help pay for college or vocational school?
Do you know that your child can apply for aftercare services to help pay for emergencies like security deposits, water, gas, food, electric bills and housing?
Participants may receive one (1) hour of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.
