Parents of the Panhandle Information Network (POPIN) and the Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program are hosting a training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem and staff.
Join us on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at our offices on Thomasville Road for SB 1108 and SB 850, part of our Exceptional Student Education Institute.
This course will discuss two pieces of legislation, Senate Bill 1108 (2013) on exceptional student education and Senate Bill 850 (2013) on persons with disabilities.
The training will be presented by Kathy Powell, Program Director of the Parents of the Panhandle Information Network, a program of the Family Network on Disabilities.
Participants may receive two (2) hours of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.
