The Florida Department of Children and Families Substance Abuse and Mental Health Program (SAMH) and the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association are hosting an online training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.
Join them on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for Strengthening Families Program: Steps to Successful Implementation and Effective Results.
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a nationally recognized family skills training program found to significantly reduce problem behaviors, delinquency and alcohol/drug abuse in children as well as improving social competencies and school performance. It is among one of the most frequently utilized evidence-based prevention programs in Florida.
Presented by Jeanie Ahearn Greene, PhD, MSW, this webinar is designed for people who have completed introductory training and learned the fundamentals of the program, practiced it over time and now seek to validate, deepen and expand their skills.
Participants may receive two (2) hours of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.
