Computer Clinic for Guardians ad Litem

The Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program is hosting a training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.

Join us on August 29, October 24, November 21 or December 19, 2013 at our offices for Computer Clinic for Guardians ad Litem continuing education training.

Note: the November 21 and December 19 sessions have been cancelled as of October 24, 2013 due to low registration and conflicting schedules. This training will be presented again in 2014. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

The course will provide tips and instruction for guardians ad litem including the following topics.

  • Set up a GAL email address with a confidentiality signature
  • Complete a GAL visitation report
  • Develop a GAL report for court
  • Organize GAL electronic files
  • Use the internet to investigate and gather information
  • Navigate through the ROBUST GAL website

Due to class size limitations for this course, we are offering four sessions each covering the same material. If you cannot make a session for which you have registered, please cancel immediately.

Attendees will be awarded two (2) hours of continuing education credit. Remember, you can report your hours online quickly and easily.
