Child Advocates II, Inc. (CAII) is pleased to once again participate at a local alternative market, featuring unique ways to get holiday gifts while also helping charitable organizations.
Join them on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday, December 8 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for the Alternative Christmas Market at John Wesley United Methodist Church.
The market will feature local, national and international charities and nonprofit organizations on hand to educate the public and accept donations in the name of a family member, friend or colleague. Customized cards describing the goods and services made possible by the donation are also available, as well as select gift items.
Honor someone you care about by giving to a child who has too little. Visit the CAII table at the market to learn more about our program and to buy your gifts. The following items will be available to purchase for children in the guardian ad litem program.
- $2 — crayons
- $5 — toothbrush and toothpaste
- $5 — a small toy
- $10 — underwear and socks
- $10 — school supplies
- $20 — shoes
- $20 — backpack
- $30 — an outfit of clothing
- $40 — a winter coat
- or make a tax-deductible cash donation
The market is free. You can download the event flyer and submit questions to the event contact below. In addition, CAII needs volunteers to help work shifts at the table. Please let the event contact know if you can help for an hour or two.
