The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend Region is hosting a continuing education event of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.

Join them on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a Nutrition and Behavior Workshop.

The session will be presented by guest speaker Barbara Campo with Food For Life in Tallahassee. Passionate about understanding the intricacies of food, Campo has studied how foods — when paired with an understanding of one's own body — can truly uplift, relieve and fulfill one with strength and energy.

Campo will also provide information on becoming more aware of your body and health, examples of food contents that has a pivotal effect on entire body health and help with finding ways to make nutrition create a positive effect on your life.

Participants may receive two (2) hours of continuing education credit. Remember, you can report your hours online quickly and easily.

The training is free. You can download the event flyer and pose any questions to the event contacts below.

We hope to see you there!
