Join us at the Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church for Guardian ad Litem Appreciation Day 2013, hosted by Child Advocates II, Inc.
This annual event provides an opportunity for the local guardian ad litem community to get together, socialize, have fun and recognize the great work of our volunteers, community supporters and staff.
For this year's event, we are bringing back an old favorite—a homemade spaghetti luncheon served with salad, bread and dessert. Local community supporter Trak Engineering, Inc. will be donating beverages and many other items.
We still need volunteers to procure donated items for gift basket awards, donate food/ingredients and provide assistance with cooking, decorating, serving or cleaning up. Email the event contact below if you can help.
Children will enjoy participating in games and activities led by members of the FSU Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity for women. Plans are still underway, but we are also looking to have live music, freshly popped popcorn and hand-crafted snow cones available.
We hope you can join us for a fun filled event for our guardian ad litem volunteers, families and community supporters. Let's celebrate and honor the extraordinary people who make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children.
