Leon County Schools and the Big Bend Transition Council are hosting an upcoming continuing education training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.
Join us at the Aquilina C. Howell Instructional Services Center on Thursday, January 17, 2013 for an exceptional student education (ESE) learning event.
The event is geared toward middle and high school ESE students, their families and professionals that provide ESE services. Participants will learn about post-secondary and diploma options, agency involvement, public benefits, legal rights and more.
A light meal will be provided, however no childcare will be available.
Attendees will be awarded two (2) hours of continuing education credit. Remember, you can report your hours online quickly and easily.
You must register online by Monday, January 14, 2013 to attend.
