New Event, Holiday Gift Drive Update and eForm Email Templates

New Event

We regularly host, sponsor and support a variety of events that provide community outreach, increase awareness of our program, help recruit new volunteers, raise funds and furnish training to our volunteer guardians ad litem. The following event was added to our calendar.

Event Update

We added a new section to the 2015 Guardian ad Litem Holiday Gift Drive page highlighting the drive's supporting events. The following supporting events are scheduled so far.

We thank the seven businesses and organizations that have pledged their support by scheduling events to benefit the drive.

Remember, you can use the gal2.org/wishes shortlink to easily get to and share the Guardian ad Litem Holiday Gift Drive page.

eForm Email Template Update

We updated two eForm email templates to make better use of available space. Long text response fields on the Child Visitation Report eForm and Report to the Court eForm email templates now span the entire row, occupying less vertical space.

This minor update will increase legibility overall, but specifically benefits those who needs to print these reports as they will now consume fewer pages.

Introduced in July 2015, eForm provides a streamlined way to submit forms and reports to program staff. Featuring dynamic fields and controls, eForm is easy to use on any device at home or out in the field.

Event Registration eForm

We offer online registration for select events hosted at our office. The method for submitting these registrations has been migrated to eForm.

New Event, Holiday Gift Drive Update and New Community Supporter

Event Update

We added a new section to the 2015 Guardian ad Litem Holiday Gift Drive page highlighting the event's sponsors. We thank the ten businesses and organizations that have pledged their support so far and look forward to adding further sponsors this month.

New Community Supporter

The Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program and Child Advocates II (CAII) work together to build partnerships with individuals, businesses and organizations in the Big Bend Region.

Without the assistance provided by our CAII Partners CAII Partner and community supporters, ensuring children have a court-appointed volunteer guardian ad litem, legal assistance and financial resources would be extremely difficult.

The following organization was added to the Supporters page, filed under Local Businesses.
