Local screen printing and embroidering business Clothesline is running a contest and our non-profit partner Child Advocates II, Inc. needs your help to win.

We wrote about the nomination process last month and thanks to your votes, Child Advocates II is among the local charities now vying to win Clothes for a Cause.

Please consider voting for Child Advocates II today. The winner will receive $500 of customized apparel from Clothesline. You can vote once a day until Monday, December 8, 2014.

We regularly host, sponsor and support a variety of events that provide community outreach, increase awareness of our program, help recruit new volunteers, raise funds and furnish training to our volunteer guardians ad litem. The following events were recently added to our calendar.

  • My Brother, My Sister, Me: Sibling Relationships vs. a System of Care
    A slide presentation on the legal requirements governing sibling placement, visitation and adoption; the importance of maintaining siblings together; and how our actions affect siblings and those who love them.
