Abramowitzs in the News

On Monday, August 20, 2012, the Daytona Beach News-Journal published two articles of interest about members of the Abramowitz family.

As we have mentioned previously, Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program Executive Director Alan Abramowitz also volunteers as a guardian ad litem.

"Chief guardian has own caseload" by Deborah Circelli goes into more depth about children Abramowitz represents in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. It also includes quotations from John, a foster teen in Deltona for whom Abramowitz is guardian ad litem.

Both of Abramowitz's parents also volunteer as guardians ad litem in Florida, but it is his older brother and US Army veteran David Abramowitz who is the focus of the second article.

"Prescription drug abuse taxes state's children/family agency" by Deborah Circelli discusses David Abramowitz's role as a district administrator for the Department of Children and Families and his work helping families overcome prescription drug addiction. The article also contains a photograph of the brothers Abramowitz.
