The Parents of the Panhandle Information Network and the Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program are hosting a continuing education training of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem, staff and parents.

Join us on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at our offices on Thomasville Road for Effective Guardian-Teacher Conferences.

Parent-teacher conferences provide the perfect opportunity to build and strengthen the relationships between parents and teachers. Communication is an essential component to your child's academic success. This training provides a great framework for effective parent-teacher conferences and meetings. We will discuss several strategies for building lasting, collaborative relationships between parents, teachers and faculty.

The training will be presented by Kathy Powell, Program Director of the Parents of the Panhandle Information Network, a program of the Family Network on Disabilities.

Participants may receive two (2) hours of continuing education credit. Afterward, report your hours quickly and easily using our eForm.

The training is free. You can download the event flyer and register with the event contact below.
