2013 Human Trafficking Summit

Florida Human Trafficking Summit - Full Day Conference: October 3, 2013 - University of South Florida Marshall Student Center

Florida's Center for Child Welfare and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice are hosting an event of interest to volunteer guardians ad litem.

Tune in on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM for a live internet broadcast of the 2013 Human Trafficking Summit at the University of South Florida Marshall Student Center in Tampa, Florida.

While the broadcast will not include all breakout sessions at the summit, it will feature the following events. Refer to the breakout session schedule for descriptions and presenters.

  • 9:00 AM — Plenary Session
    Kick-off Event and Awards Presentation
     
  • 10:00 AM — Plenary Session
    Florida Leadership Panel Discussion
     
  • 10:45 AM — Breakout Session A
    Multi-Disciplinary Team Approach to Combating the
    Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
     
  • 1:15 PM — Breakout Session B
    Human Trafficking: Know the Signs
     
  • 3:00 PM — Breakout Session C
    Labor Trafficking Investigations and Prosecutions

You will need a computer or other internet-capable device with speakers or headphones. You should also make sure that you have at least one compatible player installed beforehand.

After 8:30 AM on the day of the broadcast, visit the web event page to join and watch.
