The Advanced Skills Course continuing education series provides an opportunity for current volunteer guardians ad litem to review and refresh their knowledge and skills.

Join us on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at our offices for Advanced Skills Course Session 4: Increasing the Effectiveness of Child Visits.

The session will be facilitated by Kimberly Nester, Child Advocacy Coordinator (CAC). The first panel, "What DCMs Look for in Their Visits", will be presented by Joanna Thielman, Dependency Case Manager (DCM) while the presenter of the second panel, "Effective Interactions with Children and Teens to Build Trust and a Positive Relationship", is still to be determined.

Attendees will be awarded one and a half (1.5) hours of continuing education credit. Remember, you can report your hours online quickly and easily.

You must register by Monday, June 24, 2013 to attend.
